Mamis Latinas WA

Mamis Latinas was founded in May 2021 by Gabriela Guzmán during the COVID-19 pandemic. What began as a way to overcome isolation and find community quickly grew into a supportive space for Latina mothers seeking connection, friendship, and a sense of belonging in Western Australia. In 2024, she joined forces with Yari & Spanish Playgroups Perth to establish Mamis Latinas WA, thereby strengthening their impact and continuing to build a vibrant, united, bilingual community for their families. Now, through this partnership, we are able to strengthen our group and expand our reach by supporting and multiplying new mum leaders within the community, all under the umbrella of Hispanos y Latinos United.
